The headline on CNN news page of March 21 stated “Is the worst over or just beginning?” The story starts with the topic of bond yields dropping. Do you know what these bonds are? These bonds are our mortgages packaged together as a security bond, and then sold to foreign countries and investors. So this means that the mortgage payments that come in on the bonds go to whoever buys them. The bond is the security for the money they gave for buying the bond and the yield has dropped over 4% in the last month. It is all tied to the fixed rate mortgages.
The average working class person is not taught the principles of wealth or how to deal with money. If you are like me you learned most of your money skills from how your parents dealt with money. What did you learn in school about financial education? We stopped manufacturing many of our own products because our labor costs went too high.
Did you know we are taught to work for our money and the wealthy are taught to have money work for them? I do not blame the school systems because they are told what to teach, but if you did not have the answer that was required on the tests you were wrong. In business there are many ways to get results so the customer is happy. We haven’t been encouraged to be creative thinkers .
The other problems we are facing are fuel costs going through the roof! Thousands of people are loosing their homes and work is hard to find. If new homes are not being built that means thousands of people that work in that field are looking for jobs. I would like to see many wealthy people in America and take control back of the American economy.
