You hear that many people who win the lottery are instantly rich. Do you know any of them? Why is it that you hear most of them that be come instantly rich lose it?
Well I’ve got my idea and it has to do with the way we were taught how to handle money. Most of us learned about money from the way our parents handled it. If your parents spent every dime they got, you have been taught the same way even if you don’t know it. We are not taught about money in school . They don’t teach you how to have money work for you or teach you how to have money making money. They teach you English, math, science, cooking and many other things. Even in college they teach you business, marketing, languages, but they really do not teach you how to have money working for you.
So the people that win the lottery have no idea of the right way to deal with instant riches. They go out and buy everything they want, a new car, house, just things they always wanted but never could afford. Everyone is trying to sell them something and because they don’t know any better they buy everything. The next thing they know is that they owe more then they have, everyone gave them credit and they used it. The money is gone and all the bills still are coming in, because they never understood about money. If they only had some idea of how to make the money work for them they may not have lost it all.
I remember the man that won the 300,000,000. and was going give some money to his church to build a new building. A year or two latter they did a story on him it when something like this, It was a curse not a blessing. Everyone was calling for money, his granddaughter he gave a new car to got kill ed in it, his wife left him, and the business he built, that was doing great before, was failing. That is why the rich teach there children about money.
The rich teach their children how to have money work for them, that’s why they think totally opposite of the middle class and poor. Did you know when the rich need something they go out and find an asset that will give them a positive cash flow to pay for what they need or want? I know of one story, what he did was bought a ministorage that actually gave him $5,000 a month cash flow and that paid for the new Porsche he wanted. When the average middle-class person, including myself, needs a dependable vehicle , we go out and buy the vehicle then we have to figure out how we will pay for it. That’s why the rich think totally opposite of the poor or middle class.
This website is here to change your mindset because it’s taken me 10 to 15 years to really understand the mindset of the rich. I know it will not take you that long.
So the first thing is to analyze the way you think about money. I have a couple of questions for you to answer and think about. Number one: How do you have money working for you? Number two: Is your money making money? number three: how do you really think about money, is it a need or a tool? You can change the way you think about money.
